John Ireland - John Ireland asked for permission to marry Sarah Ann Blades. They were married on 30 October 1826 at St. Philip, Sydney, NSW, Australia. He came on the ship "Guildford" as a convict, arriving 3 May 1824. He had various occupations including Inn Keeper/Publican, Mail Contractor and Coach Proprietor. John died at the age of 47 on 10 February 1847 and was buried the following day at Ashfield Church Yard, NSW, Australia. He had been ill for 5 days. He left Sarah with a number of small children, the last one only about a year old.
