SIMMONS, Elizabeth
(nee McClutchey)

The Gazette, Saturday July 8, 1911
Mrs Elizabeth Simmons, one of the old hands of the Hawkesbury and Colo districts, died last week.  The old lady was over 90 years of age, and had been somewhat feeble for a number of years.  Her family are well-known and highly respected through the wide Hawkesbury district.  Mr Chandler was the undertaker.

WHOLOHAN, Henry

Windsor & Richmond Gazette, Wednesday, August 29, 1951
HENRY WHOLOHAN

A host of friends in the Kurrajong district, and throughout the Hawkesbury generally, learned with very sincere regret of the passing at his home on August 22 of Mr. Henry Joseph Wholohan, one of Kurrajong's oldest and most widely esteemed identities, at the age of 83 years. To his wife, for whom this sad event severs a happy partnership of more than half a century, and to the family Mary (Mrs. W. Overton, Mascot), Dorothy (Mrs. L. W. Shepherd, North Richmond), Catherine (Mrs. B. Fuller, Muswellbrook), Eileen (Mrs. G. Turner, Northmead), Michael (Gladesville), Edith (Mrs. W. Armstrong, Kurmond), and Harry (Chatswood), who have lost a devoted father, is offered the heartfelt sympathy of a very wide circle of old Hawkesbury friends.
Following a Requiem Mass in St. Gregory's Church on the morning of August 23, the largely attended and representative funeral took place in the afternoon, when the interment was conducted in the Catholic cemetery at Kurrajong.

CAVENOUGH, Celia
(nee Collins)
Windsor & Richmond Gazette, Saturday, June 14, 1890
In Memoriam.
On Saturday last Mrs. Cavenough of Lower Portland, passed away at the good old age of 81 years.  About a month ago she was taken ill, and although at times she seemed a little brighter, still it was evident to all (except the love-blinded eyes) that her call had come.  Her spiritual comfort was great.  Mrs. Cavenough for many years has been connected with the Methodist Church, and proved a "Mother in Israel," extending to all a hearty greeting and kindly welcome.  Her Memory will long be green in this district.  On Monday, the 9th inst, her remains were placed in the Wesleyan Cemetery by the side of her husband.  Many friends gathered at the funeral.  The service was connected by the Revd. H. Woodhouse, and Mr. W. C. Roberts gave the address.  The whole service was of a deeply impressive character.  Another old resident gone!  But we part to meet again. - Correspondent.
McKAY, Bryan 13-7-76 to 4-6-99. Deep in our thoughts you'll always stay, you are loved and remembered everyday. Love from Mum, Dad and Patrick.
RAMM, Bette 25-6-2001.
Gone is the face we loved so dear;
Silent the voice we loved to hear;
Unknown to the world she stands by our side:
And whispers these words: "Death cannot divide".
Loved and remembered every day Jeanie, Faye, Colin and families.
