Institute of Heraldic & Genealogical Studies - This is the site to go to for requesting a copy of the Pallot's Marriage & Baptism Index for England: 1780-1837. Most of the records were destroyed in WWII, Pallots has a listing of 200,000 that survived.

Proceedings of the Old Bailey - 1674 to 1834 - A fully searchable online edition of the largest body of texts detailing the lives of non-elite people ever published, containing accounts of over 100,000 criminal trials held at London's central criminal court.
Regiments of the British West Indies & Bermuda - unfortunately there are no lists of soldiers but this does give the history, etc.
